Privacy policy
Last updated August 23, 2026
Hush is a public room. We collect as little as we can and we treat the floor as something other people can see. This policy is for tryhush.lol, operated by Cinderway Interactive.
No accounts
We don’t ask you to sign up. There is no Hush username, no profile, no password. If you never pay and never take the floor, we don’t store a name or email for you.
What you put on the mic
When you take a turn we store the URL or handle, the one-line message, optional voice audio, how much you paid, and timestamps. That is the product: other people hear and see it, including after your clock runs out, under Who spoke. Voice clips live in our database with the rest of the room. Don’t record anything you wouldn’t want played in public.
Payments
Card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay are processed by Stripe. We never see your full card number. Stripe gets whatever they need to charge you (including billing details you type on their page). We keep a record of the turn: amount, Stripe session id, and whether it was applied. Read Stripe’s privacy policy for their side.
Room traffic
We keep a visitor counter for “in the room.” It is a number, not a list of people. Our host (Vercel) and database (Supabase) may log IP addresses, user agents, and request times as part of running a website. We don’t sell that. We don’t run a third-party ad pixel on Hush.
Cookies
Hush itself doesn’t use tracking cookies. Stripe’s checkout page may set cookies they need to take payment. Your browser may also store ordinary technical data.
Who sees it
Public floor content is visible to anyone who opens the site. We use processors to host the app, store the database, and charge cards: currently Vercel, Supabase, and Stripe. They only get what they need to do that job. We don’t sell your information. We don’t use your voice clips to train AI models.
How long we keep it
Turns and clips stay as long as the room is up, unless we remove them for abuse, law, or a shutdown. Payment records stay as long as we need them for accounting, disputes, and Stripe. Server logs rotate on our hosts’ schedules.
Your choices
Because there is no account, there is no dashboard to download or erase yourself. If you want a line or a clip taken down, contact Cinderway Interactive through cinderwayinteractive.com and tell us enough to find it (time, handle, or the line). We will reasonably honor takedown requests that aren’t an attempt to rewrite the public record of a fight you started. You can refuse the microphone in your browser; the text turn still works.
Children
Hush is not for anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you think a minor paid or recorded, tell us and we will delete what we can find.
Law & contact
If you are in a place with extra privacy rights (including the EEA, UK, or certain US states), you can ask us for access or deletion of personal data we hold — knowing that public mic content was posted by you on purpose. Contact Cinderway Interactive via cinderwayinteractive.com. Florida, USA.
We may update this policy; the date at the top is current. Using the room after a change means you accept it. This is written for a small public room. It is not legal advice.
