How the board works
tryhush.lol — one throne, a ranking. No clock.
The short version
Pay to talk. Record up to five minutes. Stay until someone outbids you or the crowd heckles you off. Ranked by what you paid.
The throne
One person is on. Their photo or logo, handle, line, recording, and bid are the page. They do not time out. They leave when they’re outbid or heckled off. Then the throne sits empty until the next payment clears.
What you put up
Three things: a link, a one-line message, and an optional recording.
- An X handle — type @name. We open their profile and pull their photo.
- A site — paste the URL or the domain. We pull the logo. Visit on the throne opens it.
- A line, 90 characters. That’s the caption under their name.
- A voice note, optional. Record after you pick a bid. You get as many seconds of tape as you bought, max five minutes. The room can hear it while you hold the throne and replay it after.
All of it is public. Don’t put anything on the mic you wouldn’t want played back.
Tape and money
$1 = 30 seconds of recording. $10 = 5 minutes of tape — that’s the cap. Bid $11 or $11,000, still five minutes of recording. Dollars past $10 buy a higher bid, not extra tape. Whole dollars only. No money cap on the bid. Holding the throne is not timed.
Taking the throne
If it’s empty, $1 gets you on. If someone’s on it, you have two ways off them:
- Outbid — pay at least a dollar more than their bid. They drop to the board. You walk on with your yap.
- Heckle — $1 is one heckle. It takes as many heckles as their bid in dollars, plus any encores, to knock them off. Then anyone can take the empty throne for $1.
There is no queue. There are no wings.
The crowd
- Encore $1 — soaks one heckle. Makes them harder to knock off.
- Heckle $1 — one hit. Bid $10 needs ten heckles, unless encores stacked.
- Visit — opens their link and counts a public glance.
The board
Every turn is ranked by bid, highest cash on top. The current throne is marked even if a past turn spent more — that’s how a heckle lets a cheap bid follow a whale. Hear plays any recording that was left.
The till
The big number is real Stripe that landed on a turn, a heckle, or an encore. It is not a personal score.
Paying
Stripe Checkout. Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, and cards. The throne does not change until payment clears. You must be 18. No tax is added at checkout.
What you cannot do
You cannot take a held throne without beating the bid, unless heckles emptied it. Put illegal content, scams, or anything involving minors on the mic. We will take a turn down.
